What Tools Does General Chipping Use to Clean My Drum Mixer?
Concrete chipping might seem like simple work. And, at its core, it is. The process requires our team members to enter your drum mixer and remove dried material that has formed along its walls. How do we do this? Handheld jackhammers — and, of course, proper protective wear — are our tools of choice.
Still, while the process and equipment might be straightforward enough, there’s more to chipping concrete than meets the eye. At General Chipping, our team undergoes hours of extensive training to ensure they know how to use those jackhammers to perform their work in a way that safely removes the impeding concrete while minimizing the risk of damage to your mixer. On top of that, we make sure they know how to tackle the job in a way that keeps those around them — your employees included — safe from flying debris and other such concerns.
We believe that strong skill set is key to a job well done, and more important than any equipment we might have onsite. As John Joseph Bernet once said, “Men are more important than tools. If you don’t believe so, put a good tool into the hands of a poor workman.”
